For many a Cruise offers a great way to relax, to see new places and to enjoy an “endless” supply of food. If you never took a Cruise before you probably should do some research and perhaps even talk to others who have taken Cruises before.

I personally have a dog and cat. Yes they do get a long and both have unique personalities that I enjoy experiencing everyday.

Obviously there are many types of pets to choose from, so I suggest you do your homework and make selecting the right pet part of a new series of activities. If you have a spouse I also strongly suggest that you get him/her to agree with your decision and involve him/her in the selection process.

I can tell you from my experience my cats have always been more independent and less interested in on-going interactions. They have been affectionate and loving on their terms. My dogs on the other hand have all been there when I come home and sad when I need to leave. They provided and my current dog provides unconditional love and understanding and knows how to make me smile.

Although I encourage everyone to stay as active as possble and to socialize with others as much possible, the right pet can truly add so much to the daily pleasures of your life.

Buy the breed of your choice, or adopt a pet from your local pound or Human Society. Again, I encourage you to do your homework to decide what you are looking for to avoid just falling for the “sad and loving eyes” while you engage in your search.
